as some of u know i have a d reg nissan micra 1.0 the thing is its burning a lot oil i am putting 10w 40 in will it b ok 2 put 15w 40 or wot other oil will b ok the car is coiming of the road soon. my dad said put any oil in lol

15w 40 will go in ok but just because the weight is different doesnt mean it wont cure the smoke problem

15W40 is the same weight and thickness as 10W40 once its up to temperature,
afraid thicker oil wouldnt solve your problem anyway mate

i know 15w 40 will not fix it i have a few lites of 15w 40 that is just sat in the shed
