cnt find the correct position to put my new waterpump on 14xe 1.4 16v engine any help? ive got this says there shud b markers??

theres a notch on the waterpump that lines up with the mark on the block, post a pic of the 2 up and I will show you.

ill clean it up abit wit bit of sandpaper and look on block more? i dint see one on pump tho only other markin on it is a cog thing in a circle?:S

Its hard to see it if the blocks dirty/covered in oil, but it is there.

Your sure its a 16v block?
As the 8v blocks dont have it.
