whats the difference between a GSI rear bumper and a standard rear bumper. apart form the GSI one is colour coded?

Brilient thanks... now i can buy one and fit it to the GSI...
check out the project build saturday night as i will be putting up the start of the C20xe gsi im doing (well if all goes to plan and i actually pick the bugger up)

dont get a half colour coded pre97 rear though, as they are differernt, they have an extra swag line round the bumper

post 97 doesn't have the lip/groove/whatever it's called, and has a tow eye cover too.

Yeah a gsi bumper is a non colour coded bog standard bumper sprayed up.

got for the pre97, as that's what a gsi has, and it will go better with the front bumper etc

I'd go for GSi rear too. You can get them cheap enough. I got mine for a tenner.
You can get the same bumpers off pre 97 dervs with coloer coded bumpers too IIRC, if that's any use to you

im not fussed about them being sprayed as i will do this myself... got to do a wing mirror and a wing so i aint to shabby with a spray gun
oh and a boot and the front slam pan

I'd go with a pre-97 un-painted. The post-97 ones have the swage line so i think it'll look a little daft as you will see the bumper lines on back and with the gsi bumper to following the arches if you get me lol
