cool,did it compromise reliabiltiy of the engine at all? also what was mpg like afterwards? cheers

fancy doing it to mine, but haven't got the bottle of knowledge to tinker with it lol. Apparently in some cases it does improve mpg, however theres no reported losses iirc...

any1 know if it will make any difference in performance by sipmly removing the white ring? cos i don't fancy messing about with boost n fuel pump just yet

considering i was quoted over £300 to do it and my local garage said its pretty pointless doing lol still wouldn't mind doing it though

garages have over heads, i dont 
it is worth doing but dont expect it to rip your arms off

but aparently if u have the gm engine rather than the isuzu, then it blows up if tune it? and as urs is a '98, i expect it is a gm motor

there isnt a gm diesel engine in the corsa is there? if your local to me ill also be able to do it for you.
mine didnt really improve in mpg just stayed around the same

i thought the later diesel engines were gm's, and not as good, not 100% on that though

yes there is a gm diesel which is shit but it doesnt come in corsa b's
