umm... i have a corsa 1.6 sport and i bent the original ball joint and put a copy one on, but that has snapped!!. iv'e been told that it is a common fault with the copies and been told to get the original vauxhall ones, is this true or is my car just bad luck?

Sounds like your just unlucky mate
Ive never had problems with aftermarket parts

I have aftermarket balljoints on my XE.
I ordered mine through Autovaux though, and they sent the ones out that I assume vaux would ue.
Give them a bell

no its not a good experience! lol when it went it snapped, my drive shaft popped out, bent my wing right up! scratched my bumper to hell
is there like any racing ball joints you can get which are stronger or...? dont fancy it happening for a 3rd time!!

thats never happend to me and ive had nine corsa's wiv 1.2 1.4 1.6 2.0 8v and some 16v and all have been lowered to death and ive never had one snap. how are you driving it???????
