should of done this one first, but it depends on how much it is to convert rears to how much i spend up front.
has anyone any knowledge of how good...
green stuff pads
rotor disks
black diamond disks
black diamond pads
are??
or anything else that will uprate the standard calipers on the 1.6 sport?
at the moment im thinking of keeping the same size disks.

greenstuff pads arent great, low dust level though. redstuff are far better.
black diamond discs arent any better than a standard pattern part, that is all they are but with grooves cut into them.
best bet is to go for a front brake setup from a 2.0 astra or cavalier/calibra. same size disc but a much stronger caliper. (disc is a few mm thicker)

ahhh i thought they where larger in diameter... is it a scrappy job for the calipers then?
dont the redstuff ware out quiklyish??

redstuff last well and stop well. its what I use on my 200hp 1.6.
they can be bought as reconditioned items which is the best option as scrapyard jobbies may need a rebuild anyway.
