beautiful tv, not bad for first flatscreen tele, and for the bedroom aswell
burning it in slowly for 200 hours on minimal settings, quite impressed even with everything turned down and off
bloomin tv arrived before my new entertainment unit/stand so its gotta make do on this dodgy stand til the weekend

Its not a complete waste of time, and if you tried taking your TV back once the panel had dimmed by half they would probably tell you where to go!

They probably wouldnt but the lifespan of the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty so they would put it down to 'wear and tear'

I think if you've got £800 to spend on a tv its time to move out of living with mom n dad!

i agree, my mate has a 32" sony bravaria(or what ever it is) on his bedroom wall. his room is an average/medium size, and you cant back far enough to see its full potential. cant imagine what its like with a 50", surely thats just a waste.

That may be why he has £800 to spend tbh.
And having £800 to spend on a tele (that he might of saved over the last 6 months) is a little different compared to the cost of moving out
