Right fellas need some help please. just got a bfo cone for my corsa. i was just wondering will a cold air feed pipe improve the sound of it. if so what is the best to use and were would you place the pipe in order to maximise the effect of adding the cold air feed pipe. cheers need to know cos im not well up on these things

cold air will not improve the sound
im guessing your car is an 8v & thats why it sounds crap

i fitted a bfo to my 1.2 16v, had it on for a few days, then put in a cold feed ducting pipe, sounds louder, better response, so i think its worthwhile.
how do u clean those bfo cones?

soak it in hot soapy water overnight, then let it dry out for a day then re-oil it. job done

got it from halfords, the stuff that is compressed then u pull it to the length and shape u want.
mine goes from the left of the cone down to the bottom grill which is now mesh with a hole for the ducting to stick thru
