rught have not got a haynes at the minute but will be getting one - the cluch is on its way out and it needs doing - how easy or difficult is it on a 1.4 8v N-reg?! will it be a fairly easy job with a bit mechanical knowlegde and a haynes?!

not sure mate - never had a look at it yet - been quoted stupid prices for the actuall kit and to fit it so wondered if it was a decently easy enough job to do myself!?

depends on the flywheel type, and wether the box has the inspection cover.
if it has the cover its a lot less work.

think it has a cover mate - a plate on the bottom of the box with about 10 bolts and its abit of an odd shape?! got some pics of what i mean but they abit poop!!
can anyone confirm if this:
is the inspection cover on the gear box?!

That pic is crap 
But if its a 1.4 8v it will have a cover easy clutch to do

That is the cover for the differential. You don't want to be taking that one off.
