Is there a way of going online and using your address to find out if you have a BT line installed? Fuck paying £140 to get one installed if I have to just to run down the rest of the broadband contract, id rather pay through the nose to get out of that.....

just call them and give them your address they will tell you if you have or not. I called NTL and they said that my place had a line there. Was gonna go for BT at a cost of 150 quid but when NTL said there was a line there it cost me £30 to connect the line!!!

Aye jsut wondered as Im in the library at university atm, people probly wont appreciate me having to say every sentence 5 times so the person on the phone understands me....

try that link it gives you most things you can get via your postcode. prob best you can do without having to call them really

aye checked it, i want cable but im locked into an 18 month contract with bt (got another 6 or 7 months to go on it yet and to cancel they will take all their money and then I will have service anyway, wankers, my line will only support 2mbps and they are charging me for the 8mbps
