i just need to have a spare tyre that fits under calibra 2.0 brakes in front. will a steel rim from an astra fit and will it fit in the spare tyre space?

and they will fit easily at the back right? what ET, rim width and tyre spec should i look for?

no probs on the rear mate. ideally for a nova/corsa you want et49

They only fit striaght under 14s if there 5.5J or more width.
5J dont usually fit and catch the caliper unless the pads/discs are worn

how do I find out if my wheels have 5.5J or less?
Where would it say?
Or if anyone fancies going into my garage and having a look at my wheels, will 2.0l fit under? [they are 14"]

2.0 will fit fine under those GSI alloys you have on.

AWESOME. glad to hear. lol.
my 1.4 brakes are giving up on me, so upgrading. Embarrassing the other day, was doing some spirited driving the other day, had to stop at some traffic lights, my brakes were smoking and smelling, so time for a change. lol
