what is all the modifacations needed to the gear selector wen fittin c20xe into corsa? do i cut the U bend bit and extend it by 15mm? im having trouble finding reverse see

Extend it by the width of the rear mount spacer.

It's normally second and fourth that you have issues getting before the linkage is modified.

If you don't extend the top cross bar (black plastic thing) then you get a little less left to right throw once it is refitted. The only bonafide reliable way to extend that top bar is to get small balls/sockets/rose joints and a threaded bar to make a new one.
