Hi ive been to a scrapyard today and got a set of 2ltr 16v brakes disks and pads and i just want to check they are the right calipers since just looked at a set on here and they look different on mine they say 48/20 on the left side of the caliper and 392 on the right does anybody know if they are the right ones? i know they are supposed to be 256mm? or something? do you just measure the length on them??

Do they say ATE anywhere on the calipers?
Measure the disk from one side to the opposite side...ie furthest edge to furthest edge. Should be 256mm
What car did you take them from?

Hi yeh i have measure the disk in the middle at the widest point they are 256mm but the caliper does not say ATE its says DELCO on them i did not take any of the items off a car from a vauxhall breakers i think they have given me some 2ltr disks and 1.4/1.6 calipers

Probably Corsa GSI calipers...
They use thinner discs.
