I need to replace part of the steerig on my corsa C but not sure what the name of this part is so here a pic:



Does anybody have any advice on gettign the old one off?

I've got the ones in the pic above on their way to me, just need to know how to get the old one off and replce it

better do them with the complete rack out as they have a red stuff tread lock on tread and you need a big spanner I think i used 32mm one (corsa b ones) better if you heat up a bit the tread as would not come out easily

jesus christ I was hoping to leave the rack where it is, sounds a bit of a mission. Cheers for the help mate, ill have to invest in some new spanners today
