Input seal on the driveshaft, i bought these seals for the gearbox as i think i may have a minor leak, once i remove the box, where will the "input seal" go? will it just go down the main shaft? or will i have to take some of the box apart?

The input seal will go in the input shaft.

where it meets the flywheel? or on the inside of the box?
