just wondering how hard it is to fit electric windows, id obviously buy the whole kit, so everything will be there..
also how much approx should i be paying on average for the electric window kit?

hi mate. i bought the electric window parts from the doors of a gsi. yet when i fitted them to my corsa, they wouldn't work. you have to disconnect the wiring loom that goes from your car to your doors and see how many pins are there. for the electric windows to work you need roughly 17pins (roughly). where as if you have only 12pins (roughly) they will not work unless you fit the car loom for them, or your good with electrics. An easy way to tell is, undo the plug, if there are 2 big pins at the top of the plug (on the car loom) they'll work, if theres only 1pin, they wont

the one in the door opening, near the hinges, should just twist off. check how many pins are the and report back

the only way of getting round it is getting the car loom that runs all the way round the back of the dashboard, it is a big job but depends if it is going to be worth it to you. Good luck pal, Mick

easy enough to make a loom, ignition live fromt he fag lighter to the switches. permanent live from the battery to the motors, earth in the doors.
haynes manual wireing diagrams are essential
