my gas bill came in last week at £295 for a quarter and my electric was £254.45 for a quarter! but my water was only £59.95 for 6 months!!!

Unless you are on a meter, water is always going to be a fixed price, depending on your home's council tax banding IIRC.

£39 here for water, looking forward to see how much last months gas/electric spends are...
TV licensing are doing my head in to.. they have charge me £27.90 this month and the previous month, dunno what they are planning at!

Thats what my GF does, pays 6 months x £27 for TV license, then doesnt pay anything for the next 6 months etc
