Ok moved into the new flat all is fine, apart from damp in the toilet income isnt working to get into the flat and there isnt any smoke alarms and the roof in the kitchen is cheap foam stuff.
now landlords not intrested on doing anything about the above.
what can i do? hand him the keys and tell him to stick it? could he do me for anything? rent is fully paid up till the end of this month aswell.

take photos of the problems and keep a log of when you told him stuff was broke and his response just incase

if you like the place get on to the local council.... or tell him you will.
If you dont, just tell him you are leaving when you paid up term finishes.
If he is unwilling to sort probs, i doubt he'd declaring the rent as income etc
