really gettin anoyed with my 1.6 corsa, is really slow, have been beaten by a 1.2 corsa! fort these 1.6's were sposed to be pretty quick.
have had mechanic chek it out on the scanner and doesnt really show anything except hall sensor witch i dnt have!!
i have engine light on, have had codes read 4 times, comes up each time as hall sensor but i dnt have one !?!?! i have coil pack not a dizzy!
basically i drive along say 70mph and suddenly the car will like go in limp mode, engine light comes on, the revs will drop and not go any faster than like 40mph,
doesnt matter if u drop into lower gear it wont rev any higher, its like the clutch is slipping but it issnt as have just fitted a new clutch,
if u switch igniton of when its doing it and switch back on, all is ok, engine light out and working fine,
untill it does it again! engine light on, revs drop.
have tried a new tdc crank sensor and a new map sensor, as i fort it may be something to do wit the crank sensor as it back fires when i change gear,
saving up for thottel bodies and managment atm but dnt wna put it all on if engine is gna keep messing me about still
has any1 had this before plz help,
