basicly the gear knob went like soup, i took the plastic cover off that surounds the area and i found i culprit
the gear stick at the bottom has a part like a upside down T and the ends of the T go through the plastc casing where 2 plastic gromets clips hold it in place, wel one of these has split and came out
well i got one out of my mates corsa, but i had 2 split the casing to get the suround out, but how do i get the 2 gromets out of this one without splitting it aswell

its kindda hard 2 try and explain.
inside the car, where the gear knob is, theres like a plastic cage around the gear knob, at the bottom of the gear shaft theres like a T shaped part which sits in the plastic cage and 2 plastic gromets hold it in place its these gromets i need out, they have like 10 teeth on them and i cant get them to shift
