Ok, the car has travelled 85.5k miles - in the last 20k it has been treated nicely.
But no, and all of a sudden, it's quite difficult to get it in gear sometimes, and often results in me completely missing the gear, losing speed and all sorts.
Could this mean the clutch cable needs adjusting? Gear box oil needs topping up or changing? Or time for a new clutch? It pulls away fine, except when on quite a steep hill.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Stop, clutch, neutral, sit on idle for a second, clutch and into reverse slowly.
Works on mine every time

Well, ermmm, was definitely the clutch - I broke down today and had to call the AA out. I couldn't get it into any gear with the engine running. I didn't realise it was so easy to adjust the clutch. Enough to get me home but I could feel it getting worse and worse so into the garage on Monday!

I've had this problem for months so I don't think its the same cause as yours Deano, or at least I hope not!

I guess I've had it for a while, but because I haven't been driving it often, it hasn't got much worse. Done over 360miles in the last week, so it has finished it off really!
May not be the clutch, but it definitely needs to go in as like I say, the AA man adjusted it and it was immediately fine, however it has begun to deteriorate again!
