as above really, can anyone please tell me the torquing procedure for my new arp conrod bolts...its a late spec DIS engine if that helps and incase anyone wnts to know the shell bearings have been replaced
also where is the best place to get a sump gasket (rubber one?) that wont leak

arp rod bolts need to be counter sunk mate. Mine were already done & then checked before my engine was put in. SBD will have the info you need on there website.

As for the rubber gasket that wont leak. Get one from an 8v & get if from vauxhall

you sure? they have a flat mating surface and seem the same size as the ones that came out??

no worries bud,basically how do they countersink? ive got a basic machine shop and could do it if i knew what to do,ive only ever done headwork on my own cars,as with a lot of of people its my passion not profession lol

You need a countersink drill bit to countersink them. It's all on the website dude.

ive got a pillar drill and contersinks etc,but im on sbd's website and kind find it?

found it,ive put them in already but only nipped them (not tight at all) do you think it would be okay to re use em? from looking at the drawing i need to countersink em in just so the flange (if thats the right word lol) sits just inside the countersink?

if they are arp conrod bolts then they can be re-used. I didnt do mine as i've said but from sbd's site it suggests to countersink the bearing cap by 1mm. I'll try finding the pics of mine when they were done.
