my mate has a 1600 16v R reg astra ls, his coilpack has gone and hes been told will cost him £200
i have a 1600 16v coilpack here for a tigra/corsa sport would it fit ?

yer its 16v but when i opened the bonnet i was not greeted with the same engine as mine, cover is different ,think its a z16xe, are the coilpacks the same on all the older 1.6 16vs

if itsa a z engine then they have the coil pack on top of the spark plugs in a row.

Nathan, if its an R reg, it should be the X16XEL, the same engine as yours but with a different inlet manifold.
If it is an XEL, then the coilpack will fit without a problem
