Just got an IPOD touch and can't get online with it. I'm using Orange internet and the Ipod finds the Livebox.
It then asks for a password which i've found and still it won't connect.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Turn the WEP off on your router so you know it deffinately isnt the password that your getting wrong.
If it still wont connect, do you have any other mac products, iphones etc....make sure mac filtering is turned off on the router and that its set to G&B.

I turned the wep off and straight away the itouch connected to the livebox.
Can you have the wep on?

Right if i turn wep security off the ipod touch goes straight online but when i turn wep security on i can't get past the password bit.
Which bit on will tell me my password for getting around this?

If its a livebox press and hold the pairing button on the back  The wireless icon will start flashing, then try and connect

Also make sure is setup at 16 bit WEP, seems to be accepted easier by the device.

I tried the pairing button but still doesn't like the password i'm using. I'll try the 16bit wep

you find the wep key in the router settings online look at the insrtuctions and it will ask for the routers ip sonething like 192.168.0.250 or something (yours will be different but that is an example) it will ask for a usnername and password these by default are writtern on the bottom of the router 9 times ut of 10 so fill this bit in unless you have changed them in the past/
then go wirless settings and write down the wep key save settings and enter it into the device, what raiting is the touvh is it a b rated or g rated device, make sure you have both enabled just in case
