is it a 'straight swap' literally can i use everything off my 1.4 16v..

ie

does the inlet/outlet manifold bolt straight up to it? all hoses from rad etc join straight up (same places)

same wiring?

ye mate the hoses are all the same but the wiring on the engine can differ but if you take the loom off ur 1.4 engine (the 1 that goes to injectors, starter motor ect) and put it on the 1.6 like i did then your 1.4 loom will connect to everythink perfect then.

thats what i did and im on the 1.4 ecu and its mint

ive got a 1.6 ecu on mine now, but puting a 1.4 ecu on it asap, so will have a spare on anyway for when i do

glad everything bolts straight up

no problem mate

just remember to get some hose clips as some of them gay clips break i forgot so was stuck with it pissing out water for a few days from the top rad pipe haha
