dont do it, it will shag the shocks in no time plus the ride will be pap.

I HAVE ON 1997 MODEL BEEN ON ABOUT 6MONTHS NOW NO PROBLEMS. BUT I WOULD UPRATE THEM

yah the ride will be ver shit, the shocks may shag depending on the weightload.

well thing is ive got 40mm springs, and its a 1.0 12v engine....so the weight is not there to drop the ride height. :-D So 60mm is called for...

well when i had my 1.0 engine i had it on 17"s and lowered 40mm and with a mate in the car it was rubbin and the drive felt pooh with standard shocks.

Ive got 17s already on the car, with a gmax 40mm drop, did also have two 15" subs in the boot, and two amps, and it did not rub...the rear sits how i want it, but the front is too high appearance wise. So another 20mm wont create too much rubbing i hope, and will look how i want it too.

mate ive got a 1 litre on 16s droped 60 at front idealy id like to hav uprated shocks but for the time being it hard and bumpy but i dont notice it too much anymore

it looks da bolox lowered 60mmat front i got 40 at rear tho cos didnt want rubbing with peeps in. ill put up a pic tomoz
