Where shud the needle sit on the gauge normally, it used to sit on 90 which is the 1st mark, but since my head gasket went and ive had it all fixed, an new water pump etc, the temp gauge sits just over the point after 90so probs bout 93 is this right or somethin still wrong?

mine runs around 90ish area in town traffic and 85ish on motorway.

Thats ok , as long as your fan kicks in do not worry , should be less when at a blast. you might have a tiny bit of trapped air, give the coolant pipes a good squezze with cap removed when warm not hot.
