The light has come on and we've lost the power steering, anyone know where to start looking?

double check your battery,apparently on some cars they need a certain volatge to run the eps

get it in to vauxhall and read the codes

I can read the codes myself! (can just flash them out same as any vaux)
I just think it's not getting any power as I've disconnected the battery and when I put it back on the fault is still there! ( would normally clear the fault if the battery was removed)
