Does anybody know what sizes the bolts are that attach the clutch bellhousing to the enging on a c16xe? and how many?

Ive looked in my Haynes guide but there is no reference to the specific bolts.

Would be greatful for some help,

Cheers folks

Take it they don't have a torque value in the Haynes? If they do it'll tell you the thread size.

It doesnt say the thread sizes, just the torque settings.

Probably my best bet is to go to a dealership. or scrapyard, and see if any corsa gearbox-to-engine bolts fit.

It was really stupid of me to forget to pick the bloody bolts up in the first place. And the guy i brought the engine off is ignoring me.

Oh well, shit happens.

Thanks anyway mate

I've got a mk3 astra manual and it tells you the thread sizes for the engine bolts.

Does it tell you that in the beginning of the section? In my 1993 to 1997 corsa manual, it only states the Nm and lbf ft values.

Where abouts does it tell you in your astra maual?

Aye, beginning of the section. I'm sure it says the part, the thread size and the torque value.

Either that or I'm very much mistaken!

Never mind mate, I went to the dealership. only cost £14.97 for the 8 bolts.

Thanks anyway for your advice mate.

For anyone else having the same problem the part numbers for the screws are:

1 x v0011072762
7 x v0011055767
