hi all, last week i purchased some fk coilovers from LMF Vaux, which do a drop of fromt -30mm to -70mm and the rear had a fixed point of -60mm.

i have standard corsa sport 3spoke alloys with 185/65 R14

went to fit them on saturday and it appears that i cannot lower them down to anywhere near -60mm on the front as the tyre begins to catch on the adjusters just wondering if anyone could help me, as i am also wanting to get some allesio speedlines which will be 195/45/ R16 and i am thinking that if i cannot wind the coilies down with these standard ones on then i wont be able to wind them down with the speedlines on as they are wider

any help would be much appreciated

take out the helper spings and wind the adjusters above the tyre,

or..

fit 5mm spacers to the front wheels

yeah they have got camber slots in the top hole mate, so you recon if i pull them right out to the extent on that slot i should get enough clearance for the adjusters to go lower?

does this not make the top of my wheels overhang the bottom?

i wouldn't say there a must
think it depends on what wheel, tyre, drop and camber that you are running on wether you need spacers

hi all, thanks for the fast replies

had a go at sorting them earlier and managed to find quite a bit more clearance from the tyre to the adjuster (partly because i sawapped my rear wheels with front [ 175/65/R14's on rear] ). therefore can lower it a bit more than before.

however think i am going to take advice from a few of you and get some spacers once i get the speedlines.

if i will be putting 16"s on with a tyre width of 195 how big spacers do you think i will need, as i dont want to take them too far so that they rub on the arch trim and also dont want too much camber as this will eat the tyres ?

If your reffering to the adjuster ring then it is the same width as the springs on most coilovers mate.
