i get the same prob, and ive found out its prolly the throttle body sensor. around £50 and easy to fit yourself.

When your car is cold it naturally idles at around 1200-1500rpm. This is normal.

but when cold it revs at 2000 then once warm it goes to 1500!
and now i think my clutch is slipping or something as now sometimes the car judders LOADS when i move off...wierd. never used too and i drive it the same.

ok...
could it be the timing? the car kinda vibrates when idle too... it is 3cyl. so that may be it...but vaux keep saying they fixed....but they ain't!

its the throttle pot.
most likely just dirt on the electrical contacts.
