Hey...
What is the best cable you can use to connect you PS2 to a tv and home cinema system?
I was thinking optical for the sound and S-Video for the picture. Does that sound the best?

optical for sound and component for video, you can pick component cables up for a few quid on ebay.
once installed you can set the res to 480p, some games like gt4 support 1080i but most will only do 480p.

a few games support a quite high res, the newer ones any way.

It's not GT4 you set, it's the display settings.
