Got my car hooked upto an ecu data reader, plug it into the fuse box, and it then connects to the ecu. It then reads the information stored, and picks up any faults on record.
Seems that one of my sensors is playing up, the one fitted to the CAT, the lambda sensor (maybe). Because there is a hole in the catalyst, the airflow reading and working of the cat is playing up, and air is being lost at the front of the car...so the whole car is running bad because of the hole. So will be removing the cat, and making sure that it has no holes tomorrow.

At least its not a new engine required...just wanted. Thanks for all your help those that suggested stuff, much appreciated.

can u buy those readers...do they cost shit laods?

Lambda sensor is not on the cat.
I got mine changed and my cat was removed a while back.

I'm sure I heard someone saying you can get the data readers for £20..

1.0 corsa has some sort of sensor plugged into the cat....and its that one is all i know.

The £20 ones simply flash an LED. You can do all they do with a paperclip.

yeh thanks. I was going to do the paperclip test, but took it to a local garage who has about 10k worth of sun electrical diagnostic computers. lol. Got it all checked for nothing as well, which was helpfull. Should have it all sorted in time for the weekend.
