Hi,
Ive just been underneath the corsa to fix the exhaust and noticed something, i'm pretty sure that its been lowered by cutting the standard springs. Is there any way to check this for sure?
And...If they are cut what problems will it cause?

You'll be able to see the chopped end of the spring, perhaps easiest to see at the rear - may be missing a coil or two.
Some people say it's dangerous, others disagree and claim they have used cut springs with no problems.
I personally think it's just rough, and I would get a set of lowering springs...

The springs won't be a uniform shape, or symmetrical - I'm sure you'll see it

if the springs are cut you may get excess of vibration and loss of strength as cutting the metal will change its density due to heat and can break much more easily
