Hi there i have put a 1.7t diesel isuzu engine into
my 1.5td corsa, and the only problem i am having
now is to get the drivers side engine mount to fit....
the engine is out an astra, so i tried to change the mount from
my 1.5 to this engine but couldnt without changing timing backing plate,
tensioner, and alot of work.
so has any1 done this conversion and is there any other mount that i can use
or do i have to get one made up?
any help would be great

it s a straight swap recommend putting an intercooler on aswell

the corsa mount and bracket should fit to the 1.7t as they are same engine !!

thats what i thought but i have also had to cut a part of the block to make the gear linkage fit. thinking of getting this mount cut and rewelded to make it work... some one must have crossed this before ???

yes there is part where the gearbox meet the block there is part where you have to cut so linkage can mount actually if you look at a 15 engine you can see that was cut by factory !
