hello, again..

right ive got these two plugs left to find homes for and then i think that is everything plugged in

ok so number 1. fairly easy to see where it comes from and also the plug end..

what is it? and where does it go ??

the vid is upside down its coming from the middle of the back of the engine..

number 2. a little harder to see the plug and also to see where its coming from :/ i tired to show but this might not of worked..

its hard to see :/ but im trying to show where its coming from..

so its got blue around it, its 2 pin socket. the cable is coming down through the lower inlet mainfold and is attached to something around the there.. im afraid thats as good as i could do atm

edit: i dont suppose these two go together? the first one looks a bit to big, to fit together with the second? if they are together thats wicked lol

ive got no idea

i replaced the old engine because the end of the spark plug had snapped off and jammed open one of the valves. they also thought that would be damage to the piston and bore..

so decided i would be better off getting a new engine.

got this one, with 50,000 odd miles, and this happens

cant be fucked any more, think it might be time to sell up..

hmm

Id just chuck a new sprocket on a hope for the best.
Will be easier to put a new engine in anyway so is worth a try.

Christ! How did that come about?

Have you actually had the engine running or have you just found this problem after putting the engine in.

If the spocket isn't completely snapped all the way round (it'll still turn) id check the timing is right.

If it is, whip the plugs out and then use a socket on the bottom pulley to see if the engine turns over by hand?

Worth a shot.

Did you have a timing belt cover on? If not, something has obviously jammed in the sprocket and smashed it to fuck.

Left a spanner in the bay or something. Unlucky mate.

if it turns over this means...?

also ive got the old engine sitting in the garage, so whats the chances its done more damage than just the valves?

could i just take bits off the old one and stick them on the new one?

cheers

If it turned over freely by hand, the timing wouldn't be out so you wouldn't have bent any valves.

You're gna have to pull the head off to check for any damage, you might be lucky.....
