got problem with my 1.4 sport every time I start it revs up to 2k revs on it's own and dies out even if I rev it myself will just die out straight away really don't have a clue what's wrong with it anyone got a clue what may be causing this cheers

try luckin 4 an air leak may be wrong and is there any smoke coming from exhaust

naa mate no smoke comes out of the exchaust the engine management light comes on aswel

egr valve? its on the gearbox side of the inlet manifold ... its a common fault
