when is it that I can upgrade my phone?

after X amounts of months?

also, do you know when the new iphone is coming out, I take it there will be a new one in the near future?

Some people say its 3 months before renewal (so 15 months in) but im on an 18 month contract up on 9th March 2010 and so far havent been offered anything and o2 wont accept my upgrade code online

So I think it depends on provider etc

Log into the O2 site and it'll tell you exactly when you can upgrade.
With O2, I've always been able to upgrade in the last month.

its completely tarrif depending.
i.e. if your paying bugger all for the phone each month, dont expect to upgrade too early (usually between 1-3 months early), if your paying alot, then you can upgrade much earlier than that.
