speedo stopped working on corsa today and flashed EML light up, did paperclip test and it flashed code 24 ( vehicle speed sensor) , What i want to no is where is it located, is has a c16se 1.6 8v in from a mk3 astra with non cable speedo, is it the bit that bolts to gearbox or behind clocks?

by sounds of it more than likely the gearbox side

Gearbox, the bit on the back of the diff, they do go wrong, but make sure its screwed down correctly and tightly.
