My key will not turn the ignition barrel, has anyone got any ideas? It is the right key, its just it will not turn!

you havent got the steering lock on have you? Try holding the steering wheel to the right and try and turn the key...

On old cars this can happen, it happened on our calibra, take the barrel out and you will find that there is a sharp lip, where the mechanism turns, file it off and put some grease on it. pop barrel back, job done!

No the steering lock is not working. Think it might have been damaged when it was on the dolly.

Manage to have fixed it i think, i hit it with a hammer and it popped out and now seems to work okish lol
