How hard is it to remove the head on a corsa gsi and fit new valves as just found owt av bent mine and put back together and how long and how much

you wont really know how much it will cost until you take the head off to see the extent of the damage. and it took me about half hour 45 mins to take the head off.

Is it hard to get it back together cause my mate said if i took it off a probs wouldnt go back on or work

Technically it's just 10 bolts holding it on so it comes off and on pretty easy.

You will need a new head gasket and a timing belt kit after you've took the head off.

Putting it back together just make sure you use the right torque settings for head and time it up properly before you turn it over or those nice straight valves will bend again.

If its a c16xe it wil take about half hour to get the plasic inlet off. Its a fucking nightmare.

shame i'm not back in Newcastle, would have poppet round n gave you a hand mate.

Do a google search for the torque settings, will be on wiki or yahoo answers.

P.S. if head is coming off, you thought about a powerbox?
