Whats the difference? cos theres no point in getting a cone filter if you can just drill a few holes and have the same effect?

I have a 1.2 corsa c sxi.

Will drilling the airbox change the sound? or will i get a better sound from a cone filter, or even just putting a K&N panel filter in?

What filter does what to the noise?
What does drilling the airbox actually do to the noise?

Cone filter will give u maxium noise, but the engine will suffer from 'heat soak'

The best way is pannel filter with a drilled airbox, as the airbox will project the cold air from the warm
