150mhz intel
32.0mb ram
1.5gb hd
Just been to pc world to get another 5gb, but the guy sed they only sell 20gb @ £50 but it would only register @ 8gb on my machine? does this seem right?

Personally I would have thought it's unlikely a P150 wouldn't support LBA to support 8gb plus.
I have a P166 as a firewall here and it's happily using a 20Gb drive...
Check with your motherboard manual or check their website...

if its running in FAT16 mode or your motherboard doesnt support LBA, which seein by the spec it dont, it wont register any more than around 8gb.

Mate go crazy and buy a new machine you will love it, dont get one from PC world tho!!!! Go round your local computer stores, not any of the high street places.

ive got an Athlon XP 3000+, 2x 120 gig Hdd's and 1.5gb worth of DDR, which is nicer
Still too slow tho hehe

yeh but PC world are a rip off. You can buy a machine from PC world for 899 say and you could build that machine for less than 400
