Bin hearin good things bout muc-off, ordered some on fri to keep my new wheels clean from their website www.muc-off.com i'll let you know if its as good as they say.

lemonade cleans them really well, the bubbles just lift off the brake dust and dirt.

Sponge, car shampoo...

Give them a wax afterwards with some normal car body wax, makes them loads easier to clean too.

wonder wheels is gr8. i get it for £6 a litre, and its superb....

yeh i use wonder wheels. does the job! comma wheel cleaner is meant to be good also.

Auto Express do regular consumer tests on things like this
Results were:
1st (5*) Wonder Wheels £6.99 for 1000ml
2nd (4*) Meguiars Hot Rinse £6.99 / 710m
3rd (4*) Comma Alloy Wheel Cleaner £9 / 750ml

That pricing right??? Up in my halfords and local motor factors it's £9-10 for a 1ltr bottle!! The 500ml bottle is bout £6-7!

coconut milk works a treat. or alcohol isoprophyl. or Tar/oil/wax remover.

the best thing you can use is traffic film remover , its the stuff industrial powerwashers have in and it will remove it when put on neat ,just leave it for 10minutes and it will be like brand new

I find Wonder Wheels the best and I've tried a good few different products
