PLEASE PLEASE !! can anyone help ?
I have a Corsa sxi twinport on 05 plate . I have changed the mass air flow meter ( BOSCH ) with the same problem remaining of flat spot when accelerating as if the car is holding back or missing . It has then been scanned by an ex vauxhall tecnician using a vauxhall scanner which has indicated problem with the plunger coked up in the E G R or EGC same thing . It has been taken off and cleaned with carb cleaner the plunger now works voltage checked all ok . Put back on and the problem still remains ! Does the Management system need re mapping and if so is it exspensive ? I also read take the battery off overnight the re connect and it may solve problem . I have spent over £200 so far and quickly loosing my patience .

The problem should disappear when you have a correct functioning EGR, the fault code shouldn't effect how the car drives. I would try and get a new one from somewhere, even if you borrow from a friend, if the problem continues then flash the codes again.
