Alright peoples. Just wondering if I can take out my air con unit from inside the car. The big box thing. So I can use a non ac dash. Is this possible or would it affect heater matrix

i have been wondering this too, i know the slider knob for the air circulation it attached to that box but not sure what else is? i have already removed the ac compressor and all the piping and rad from the engine bay, looks a lot tidier!

You can just fit a non aircon glove box....

how do you get the box out from behind the glovebox? i cant see how its fastened on?

Just took it out the hardest most swearing thing iv ever done . Just got to find a blanking plate or something for where it used to be cos water will get in. :s. Whole dash needs to come out then bout 10 bolts in engine bay. Just got to put my newly flocked dash back in now with out buggering it up lol.
