Anyone know how to use it 
I have an xbox problem, and my LAN at home (run on MSBS2003) i think is causing it. I am supposed to disable my routers port scan and DOS protection according to the internetz to stop me getting booted off xbox live every two seconds and it being laggy as fuck despite a 12mb internet connection.
Have a Netgear router but its setup (I think) as an access point not a main router?
I can access the server settings on the web using the dns address pasted into my web browser from my C:/CONFIG/ALL thingy
**Disclaimer i know FUCK ALL about PCs and what the above means, im merely going by what the internet has said so apologies if thats all bollocks.

Basically Jambo on the router side you need to forward the ports that the XBL connection needs to your Xbox.
Here's a list of ports you need to forward:

Pop the model number along with the words XBOX LIVE into google and there will be a tutorial on how to port-forward the ports for XBOX live.

My dns address automatically brings me to the server login?

Try this...
- press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to bring up the Run box
- type in cmd and click OK
- type in ipconfig and press return
Normally the default gateway address will be the address you use to get to the router config.
For example it might be 192.168.1.254, so in your browser you'd type in http://192.168.1.254.
Once you get to the router login, try the default router password as a lot of the time people never bother changing the login password on home routers. For Netgear routers it's usually:
username = admin
password = password
or
username = admin
password = 1234
