Obviously every kit is different but I just bought spax rear shocks and compared them to a set of originals I have and theres only one difference between them.

There the exact same length.
When I compress them neither feels stiffer than the other.

The only difference I can notice is the rebound. The spax ones are alot stiffer at rebounding out after being compressed.

Is that what supposed to be different? Are they ok for a Corsa lowered 60mm?

Apologies for being a total n00bie here but its the only way to learn

Well the spax ones I've got now and the Apex ones I had before were all the same length as standards, and theres no difference in stiffness when your compressing it, only when its decompressing.

If that makes sense

Basically it means when your driving, standard shocks with 60's would make the car bounce about and be harsh, uprated doesnt bounce about as much

I just wasn't sure if they were fucked due to them not being any stiffer when compressing them.

Are they all like that?

ive got some apex ones that are slightly shorter than standard, i had some g-max 60mm springs that would flap about on standard shocks but fitted on the apex they were snug
