right well got a c16se engine in my corsa b , and now and again the oil light comes on, only does it when the car idles lower than tickover but as soon as a little revs is put on goes away also doesnt stay on solid its just a faint flicker, i have a tps sensor fucked that causes car to tickover lower than normal.
what could be problem, i have enough oil so i no its not that

Could be the oil pump, if the pump isnt producing enough pressure then it will put the light on regardless of how much oils in the engine

faulty switch, there prone for going, went on me, just stick a new switch in there only a couple of quid, should sort it out

Chances are its leaking oil from the switch if it's failed aswell so make sure you keep an eye on your oil level

oil level is fine i topped it up other day i will get it sorted cheers
just hope it aint oil pump
