Just picked vectra up from garage after having alternater changed drive out and light flashing on dash checked in book said it was diesal particle filter any idea how to start it flashing cheers car is 2007 30000 miles

Think there is an explanation in the handbook, basically its blocked and needs clearing out. Requires you to drive at like 3000 rpm for a certain amount of time or some bollocks.
